The Network Installation Wizard requires that the patch be a .MSP file. To extract the .MSP file from the Service Pack for use with the Network Installation Wizard please follow these steps:

• 1. Start a command prompt and navigate to the directory containing the patch executable.
• 2. Type the patches name followed by "/e" and then an output path for the ".msp" file (for instance for the mdt (ais9) unlocked patch type "mdt2005_ais9_unl_sp1.exe /e c:\temp\SP1.MSP" (without the quotes!)
• 3. Copy the SP1 MSP file to a deployment location.
• 4. You can now use that file to patch through the Network Installation Wizard.
